How It Works
Every story on Brightside Report goes through a multi-stage editorial pipeline:
- Discovery — We monitor RSS feeds from 63 curated sources and run keyword-based searches across our editorial categories to identify potential stories.
- Scoring — Each candidate story is scored on source trust, keyword relevance, freshness, description quality, and source diversity to prioritize the editorial review queue.
- Duplicate filtering — Our system flags near-duplicate stories from different outlets, so editors can choose the best version of each story.
- Editorial review — Editors review candidates, write original summaries, and approve stories for publication. No story is auto-published.
- Publication — Approved stories are categorized, assigned insight analysis, and published with full attribution to the original source.

Editorial Independence
