These terms apply when you use brightsidereport.com ("the site"), published by Brightside Report ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What the site is

Brightside Report finds positive news reported by other outlets, writes its own summary or brief of each story, and links to the original reporting. We credit every source by name. Our selection method, source list and editorial standards are public.

Our content

The briefs, headlines we write, page design, logo and other original material on the site belong to Brightside Report. You are welcome to:

• Read and share links to any page.
• Quote a short passage with a link back to the page you quoted.

Please do not copy whole pages, republish our briefs in bulk, or collect content from the site with automated tools for republication, without written permission.

Other outlets' content

The stories we cover were reported by the outlets we name and link to. Their articles, photographs and trademarks belong to them or to their licensors. Images shown beside a story are displayed from the source's own site and credited to it. A link to another site is not an endorsement of everything on that site, and we are not responsible for what other sites publish or how they handle your information.

Copyright concerns

If you own the rights to something shown on the site and believe it should not be here, email hello@brightsidereport.com with the page address, what the material is, and how to reach you. We review every request and remove or correct material promptly when the request is valid.

Accuracy

We work to summarize stories accurately, and we fix errors when we find them or when readers point them out. See our corrections policy. Even so, the site is provided for general information. Nothing on it is medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Stories about health or science describe reported findings, not recommendations. Check the original reporting and speak with a qualified professional before acting on anything you read here.

Things you send us

When you send a story tip, a source suggestion, a correction or a comment, you give us permission to use it to run and improve the site, including publishing a correction based on it. Send only material you have the right to share. We do not publish your name or email address without asking you first.

Newsletter

The newsletter is free. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any issue. How we handle your email address is covered in the Privacy Policy.

Advertising

The site carries advertising, including ads for other products from our publisher. Advertising is kept separate from our story selection. Advertisers do not choose or review the stories we cover. We are not responsible for the products or claims of third party advertisers.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• Try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site.
• Use the forms to send spam, unlawful material or anything that infringes someone else's rights.
• Present our content as your own or imply that we endorse you.
